Hush Hunny Esthetics is Hailey’s sugaring studio in Simi Valley, CA. This page explains what this website keeps about you and why.
- Who
- Hush Hunny Esthetics, run by Hailey. Questions and requests: Hushhunnyestie@gmail.com.
- What we keep
- Your name, email and phone number, from your account or the booking form. Your visits: service, date, time, and what was paid or is still owed. Your health + consent form if you fill it in: skin conditions, medications, allergies, pregnancy, your notes and your typed signature. Your referral code, credit, punch-card rewards and membership. Hailey may also note your birthday, how you like to be contacted, and private notes about your visits.
- Why
- To book and run your visits, take deposits and membership payments, check that sugaring is safe for you, give referral and loyalty credit, and keep the studio’s books.
- Health form
- Only Hailey and you (when signed in) can see it in the app. It’s used to decide whether sugaring is safe for you on the day. You can update it from your account at any time.
- Payments
- Deposits and memberships are paid through Stripe. Your card details go straight to Stripe: this site never sees or stores your card number. We keep the amount, the date and any refund.
- Services we use
- Clerk (accounts and sign-in), Convex (the database that stores bookings, profiles and health forms), Stripe (payments), Cloudflare Turnstile (checks that a person, not a bot, is booking without an account) and Vercel (hosts the site). The hosting service processes routine request information, such as an IP address, to serve the site.
- Referrals
- If you use a friend’s referral code, each of you sees the other’s first name next to the credit.
- Cookies
- Signing in uses cookies from Clerk, and the payment and booking checks load Stripe and Cloudflare. Your browser also remembers your light or dark setting and a referral code from a link you followed. There are no analytics or advertising tools.
- How long
- Your account, visits, payments and health form are kept until you ask for them to be deleted. Booking holds that were never paid for are deleted automatically within about eight days, along with a guest record that has nothing else on it. The services above keep their own logs and backups for a limited time.
- Your copy
- Signed in? Use “Download my data” on your account page for a copy of your profile, health form, visits, payments, credit, referrals and membership. Booked without an account, or want something else? Email Hushhunnyestie@gmail.com.
- Deleting it
- Email Hushhunnyestie@gmail.com. Hailey checks that the request really comes from you before sharing or deleting anything. Your name, contact details, notes and health form are erased; the amounts of past visits and payments stay in the studio’s books without your name.
